It's a terrible trade but contrary to what everyone is saying, Ortiz does not have high stock anymore. Without Manny to support him he will bat somewhere between .240 - .270. Beltran, Oswalt and Granderson are too good to give away when all you have to do is put Cantu, an above average, multi-positioned player in at 3B for a month and a half. After that, AROD will be back hitting AROD numbers.
