Are parents doing right thing?

I believe he's being strict for your own good right now. Please understand that. It's not that he doesn't want your heart to flourish. It's the fact that March is right around the corner and getting too busy with a g/f will possibly cloud your mind. That's probably what he's thinking. There's going to be no talking him out of it most likely. I'd just pray that your g/f understands why you need to put her on the back burner. I mean if you are as smart as you say you are, go to college, and land an awesome career, you will make really good money. If this girl is "it" then you will be able to better provide for her. In this economy, how awesome would it be to be able to provide enough that when you have kids, that the mother of your children can stay at home until they go to school?
