If Priority Mail takes 2-3business days, how come its day 3 & the status online says electronic info received?

I buy alot of crap on ebay and tracking info doesn't always work. a few times it said just that until the day I got it. Since it's "hair stuff" and not medication or a lung, Just sit back and relax and it will be there. Its a busy couple of weeks for the post office. Plus sundays, christmas and newyears eve and day there is no mail service. Patience my friend...
