My JR Sparky is 5 years old and will jump up on bed when we are sleeping. He will attack your feet if awakened?

He is the sweetest funny dog when awake. Playful and joyous, but once he falls asleep he has bad dreams??? If he is by your feet he has awakened and attacked my girlfriend and my daughter. I had to roll him up in blanket and throw him off bed last night as he bit my girlfriends feet 5x. We joke he must have PTSD as we got him from my ex about two months ago. They gave him to me due to his biting my daughters feet.. He is like a monster than when he snaps out of it back to being the sweetest partner a guy could have
