Unfortunately, you've tried all there is to try. Any liquid is bad enough, anything sticky is that much worse. If you bought an extended service plan with accidental damage coverage, I guess you just got your money's worth from that. If not, you can check a local electronics repair but don't get your hopes up. Apple doesn't attempt to repair liquid damaged devices even at the owner's expense. FYI: there are three other color-changing sensors that you can't see so even if the headphone jack were still white, the cause of the damage is detectable.
