Got a Trojan Virus Please help!?

Ok so I downloaded Talisman Desktop from CNET and once I used it AVG came up saying that your computer is infected with a Trojan virus so I shut Down my computer (Samsung N130 with windows 7 starter). What should I do to get rid of it?
